• From Union Station, GO Transit and VIA Rail will take you to the Kitchener/Waterloo Area 
• GO Bus route 31 to Bramalea GO then a transfer to GO Bus route 30 to University of Waterloo Terminal 
• VIA Rail transit train #87 departs from Union Station at 5:40PM, arriving at Kitchener Station at 7:16PM at various fares  

Toronto Pearson Airport  

The free, accessible Terminal Link train takes passengers between Terminals 1 and 3, or to go to the Sheraton Gateway hotel,  Alt hotel, Viscount Station, and Value Park Garage. The train frequency is between 4-8 minutes and runs 24 hours a day. 

 There are multiple options to travel to University of Waterloo from Toronto Pearson airport. At the airport, beware of drivers who solicit passengers inside the terminal. Look for signs throughout the airport for verified transportation services. 

-Go Transit 

• GO Bus Route 40 from Pearson Airport Terminal 1 to Square One Terminal. Then, take Route 25 or 25C to reach University of Waterloo terminal.   
• GO Bus Route 94 to Keele St. @ Highway 401. Then transfer to GO Bus Route 36B to reach Bramalea GO Bus. Finally, transfer to Go Bus Route 30 from there to reach University of Waterloo Terminal.

-UP Express 

• Train service from Pearson Airport Terminal 1 to Union Station with Union Pearson Express which takes 25 minutes approximately. Visit UP Express to get schedules and buy e-tickets in advance. Tickets can also be bought at stations through Presto ticket vending machines. See above to find out options for transportation from Union station to University of Waterloo. 

-Taxis 

• Uber and Lyft services are available from Toronto Pearson airport to reach University of Waterloo directly.  
• Licensed taxis and limos can be found in Terminal 1 (Taxis: Door D, Limos: Door C) and Terminal 3 (Taxis: Doors D, E, and F, Limos: Door F). They charge flat rates with no surge pricing. Visit Taxis and Limos for more information. 

-Airways Transit 

• Airways Transit is the premier provider of airport ground transportation, including door to door service. They can be found in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 at the Lester B. Pearson International Airport. Visit private airport service for estimated prices. 

-Rental Services 

• Car rental counters can be found on Level 1 of Terminal 1 and 3 parking garages. Avis, Budget, Thrifty, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car are some of the rental companies which offer services. More rental services from Pearson airport can be found here.

To the Mainland: 

• Arrivals can take either the complimentary ferry, which runs from 5:15AM-12:07AM, or can take the pedestrian tunnel to get to the mainland terminal 

Once at Mainland: 

• TTC 
• From the mainland terminal, walk along Eireann Quay to Bathurst Street to Bathurst Street & Quens Quay West stop 
• From Bathurst Street and Queens Quay West stop, take the 509 Harbourfront streetcar east to Union Station 
• Taxi/Rideshare 
• Taxi corral is located to the right of the mainland pavilion at the foot of Eireann Quay 
• Rideshare via Uber and Lyft are offered to and from Billy Bishop. There is no designated area for rideshare app services at the airport, the pick-up and drop-off zones are located along the curb outside the mainland pavilion and ferry terminal 
• Complimentary Shuttle 
• The complimentary shuttle to Union Station runs every 15 minutes between 5:00AM-12:15AM (Monday-Friday), 5:00AM-10:30PM (Saturday) and 5:30AM-12:15AM (Sunday) 
• The pick up and drop off for the shuttle is located on the mainland in front of the mainland terminal/passenger tunnel access building

• Vehicle Rentals 
• Car rentals from Hertz, Enterprise/National are available. 
• The Hertz rental counter is located on the lower level of the airport island terminal adjacent to the baggage claim area (Hours of operation are 7:00AM-11:00PM Monday to Friday and 7:00AM-9:00PM Saturday and Sunday) 
• The Enterprise/National rental counter is located at the kiosk at the Eireann Quay parking lot on the island. (Hours of operation are 7:00AM-10:00PM Monday to Friday and 9:00AM-5:00PM Saturday and Sunday).
